Graphic Design
Be a Graphic Designer in Session 4!
Fridays, 12:30 – 1:45 p.m., beginning March 13, 2020. $160. Add on our Leadership/Public Speaking Class for an add'l $100 and stay until 3 p.m.
Grades 3-8.
• Mentored by Candace Lehenbauer, with a BFA in Graphic Design, with experience in print, logo design, and website design.
• Create a personal Yearbook for your homeschooling year
• Create a cover for Yearbook
• Learn about logo design and create your own logo
• Learn about layout design and create a magazine cover
• Printing of individual yearbooks provided up to 5 pgs. double sided. (10 total) + Laminated cover and binding.
• Can provide a few favorite assignments or writings of the year to include in your yearbook.
Students will need a laptop computer with access to Canva.com(Free Online Tool) They will also need 20-30 digital photographs from this school year including fieldtrips, etc.
This class is targeted especially for grades 6-8. Students in grades 3-5 are welcome to attend with modified assignments.
No class for Spring Break and Easter Friday. 3/27, 4/10.
Last day of class: 5/8/20.
Hand's On Art History and Science
Wednesday Mornings
Hands-On Art History Class Starting in 1 week. Wednesdays 8:45 – 10 a.m. 8 Weeks. $160 Amazing Art Teacher who also teaches at the Boca Art Museum, and was Teacher of the Year in Broward County. Grades 3-8.
Add Science (Physics and Astronomy) for $100 plus $books and stay until 11:30 a.m. Great way to maximize your homeschooling year!

Leadership is Public Speaking!
Fridays, 1:45 - 3 p.m.
This class is one of the hallmarks of our program.
Learn public speaking strategies from Toastmaster Bear Lehenbauer, as well as group discussions using the YELL Leadership program from Stanford University.
Number one key to being a good speaker... listening.
